Our Mission
" To establish a local network of support and an active
volunteer movement to support self worth and sense
of belonging among residents. " |

In
February 2001, AGCSS was selected
by the Ministry of Community
Development and Sports to
set up and run a pilot Neighbourhood
Link aptly named Joy Centre Neighbourhood
Link . Located at the HDB Studio
Apartment at Block 701B Yishun Avenue
5, Singapore , Joy Centre services
over 40 blocks of HDB flats in the
Chong Pang RC Zone , targeting residents
of the studio apartment block and
the neighbouring blocks.
JOY
CENTRE, was officially opened by our
Prime Minister, Mr Goh Chok Tong on
May 19, 2002 . |

The total area is approximately 367
sqm . We provide assistance to anyone in need . In
particular , Joy
Centre is a focal point for residents , especially
the elderly to come together for activities and community
services that will enhance their social well - being
and support network .

support services for vulnerable residents |

Initiating
and supporting mutual self help groups |
